Chronogolf is a fast-growing VC-backed start-up based out of Montreal, Canada, with satellite offices in Vancouver, Phoenix, Omaha, Richmond and Lyon. We provide cloud-based software solutions to 650+ golf courses (pro.chronogolf.com), coupled with a marketplace for golfers to find & book games in real-time (chronogolf.com).

The Challenge :
We are looking for a Product Owner (‘’PO’’) to join our growing team. The job will revolve around bridging the gap of communication between the engineering team, customer success team and the sales team.
Upon joining the company, you will be expected to contribute to the workflow and structure of inbound issues reported by the customer success team, reproduce the issue, log it with a clear description of the actual result vs expected using the appropriate language.
You will test new features built by the engineering team and ensure that they achieve the expected specifications before releasing the code to our production platform.
You will elaborate new feature specifications based on customer feedback and manage its engineering process.
What you’ll be doing :
Acting as a core member of our Agile teams.
Working on automated and manual testing with software developers and customer success teams.
Testing new features to make sure all acceptance criteria are met and all edge cases are handled correctly.
Helping the customer success team troubleshoot, filter and reproduce bugs.
Contributing to improving user experience and usability of the Chronogolf software.
Define stories and prioritize the backlog of our engineering team in collaboration with business and customer success.
Contribute to the company’s technical roadmap.
Learning, being mentored by the CTO, other Product Owner and Operations Director.
About you :
You are curious, eager to learn, and able to think outside-the-box!
You have a persistent attitude towards finding bugs, keeping up with the team members responsible and making sure the bugs are fixed in a timely manner.
You have a collaborative work ethic and the ability to work within a self-organized, cross-functional team.
You are able to understand the needs of our customer success team, prioritize them and communicate them to the developer team using the appropriate language.
You care about the overall user experience of the application and strive to constantly improve it.
Experience with various QA methodology and tools.
Experience in creating and executing test cases.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Autonomous, outgoing, a self-starter.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
English required and French preferred.
Previous start up experience is a major plus.
Playing golf is a major plus.
