About the Role:

As a member of the Sales team, you will be closing new business on two product lines (online and offline). You’ll work proactively to establish meaningful connections with the right contacts and introduce the benefits and features of Bus.com to potential partners and event promoters, tailoring creative pitches and solutions to each client’s needs.

To be successful in this role, you must be equally at ease interacting enthusiastically with prospective and current partners as you are committed to the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a great sales experience. Excelling at this job will require a relentless commitment to building and maintaining great relationships with our partners, a strong work ethic and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.

The day-to-day:
  • Create and nurture meaningful relationships with clients throughout North America
  • Identify product fits and curate tailored pitches and experiences for your clients
  • Think creatively to develop solutions for vaguely defined, varying problems
  • Sell our product online and offline in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Create and nurture meaningful relationships with clients throughout North America
  • Develop top-notch sales skills with daily/weekly team meetings and workshops
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
What it takes to succeed:
  • Minimum 1 year proven sales experience
  • Ideally in an environment where you've had your own monthly revenue targets to hit, instead of activity metrics or group incentives
  • Outgoing, proactive, driven, tenacious personality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (English a must, French an asset)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit; flexibility and willingness to learn on the fly
  • Experience in a startup / sales environment is a bonus
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a bonus
Perks & Benefits
  • If you're average, your on target earning will be $90,000 -$100,000 annually. If you're a top performer, you'll make north of $100,000 with a uncapped, tiered commission structure.
  • Base salary range $35,000 - $50,000 depending on level of experience
