Stay22 is a Montreal-based startup that has developed a widget for users to find accommodations around events they are attending. For event organizers, it provides a free widget that curates hotels around event and venues, easily embeddable on their own website, just like a youtube video. For ticketing platforms and event aggregators, we provide easy to integrate wide scale distribution method with the help of our embeddable documentation along with a revenue share deal. For end users, we offer and advanced and targeted user experience toward event traveling.

We save user from the headache of juggling between Event website, Calendar, Google Maps, Kayak, Airbnb etc.


Job Summary

We are a rapidly growing startup that helps companies improve the overall experience of their event-goers through a platform that makes it easy to search for accommodations near an event/venue, anywhere in the world.

Your role, should you choose to accept it:

If you are the right person, we have a position of Sales Development Representative, whose main purpose will be assist the sales team in growing our pipeline of prospects. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will be tasked to research and data input new leads, as well as completing partial sales cycle, including cold emails/calls. In this capacity, you will work closely with the Sales team.

What you will be in for, on any given day:
  • Reach out by email and phone to new potential prospects from our CRM, from Montreal to Sydney!
  • Perform research to find new leads, whether it’s from Apollo, or google or any other means
  • Run full sales cycle with smaller clients/inbounds
  • Perform Customer Success related tasks (email/phone follow-ups)
  • Ensure your sales activities are logged properly in the CRM
  • Attend International Events and Ticketing conferences
  • International and local client entertainment
  • Any other startup surprises that might arise
  • But more seriously: Help closing deals!
What you will bring to the table:
  • Perfect proficiency in French and English, written and spoken
  • Experience with high-level customer service
  • Experience with cold calls
  • Knowledge of the accommodation, tourism and/or event industry
  • Experience using a CRM (ex : Hubspot)
  • Familiar with virtual communication tools (Gmail, Slack, DocSend)
  • Business acumen
