Job Summary

Title: Senior Producer

Reports to: Head of Studio

Duties:

  • Estimate, plan and coordinate efficiently all material and human resources on the project throughout the duration of the production cycle;
  • Establish and communicate efficiently the direction of the game to all directors of the project;
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the team in order to evaluate the progress made to make sure the team deliver each step in time;
  • Ensure an efficient control of the production budget;
  • Act as a spokesman for the project both internally and externally;
  • Work in collaboration with the marketing team to develop a game that meets expectation of the end users;
  • Work in collaboration with all the Studio’s services including Human Resources, Finances and IT on all recruitment needs, budgets or software licences;
  • Analyze and determine the need to contract sub-contractors that might be necessary to the project;
  • Participate to the annual performance review and take necessary measures to motivate employees to meet their objectives;
  • Take a final decision whenever there is a conflict amongst the creative team;
  • Organize and participate to post-mortems in order to identify any elements to remember or modify for the next project.

Experience and qualifications:

  • University diploma in project management or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the video game industry as a project manager;
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken French and English;
  • Experience in problem resolution and conflict management;
  • Bilingual (French or English).

Technical skills:

  • Ability to lead, mobilize and influence a work team in order to obtain the quality and performance desired;
  • Ability to respect production deadlines;
  • Thorough knowledge of competitive products, companies and market trends;
  • Understanding of the game production cycle.

  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Leadership and a good sense of responsibilities;
  • Be focused on achieving superior results;
  • Be a solid team player;
  • Be able to adapt to change and to work under pressure while respecting deadlines.
