Moment Factory is a multimedia studio based in Montreal with a full range of production expertise under one roof. Our team combines specialists in video, lighting, architecture, sound, and special effects to create remarkable experiences. Since its inception in 2001, Moment Factory has created more than 400 unique shows and destinations. Productions span the globe and include such clients as the Los Angeles Airport, Nine Inch Nails, Microsoft, NFL, Sony, Toyota, the City of Barcelona, Madonna, and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
 
Your team
 
By joining the Montreal studio, you will be working alongside 400 employees of ten different nationalities in an open-concept, organic, colourful, and human space. The studio occupies 60,000 square feet, over two floors of a historical printing house in Mile-Ex. It all started here, in what was once the multicultural industrial centre of the city and has become the turntable of artificial intelligence in Montreal.
Becoming a part of the Shows, Events, and Branded Experiences team means revisioning the way that we experience concerts, artists, and even brands through the lens of multimedia. Your playground will be filled with internationally renowned and up-and-coming artists, emerging and established brands, and exclusive events.
 
Your mission
 
The Team Coordinator's primary role is to support the Shows, Events & Brands team manager while performing tasks related to the development and coordination of the team. The Team Coordinator is organized, professional, proactive, and able to work in a flexible environment. The coordinator must also be highly motivated and capable of anticipating the needs of fellow team members.
 
Functions and responsibilities
 
1. Team coordination
  • Update time sheets, overtime, and vacation schedules for department employees, on a weekly basis;
  • Organize breakfasts, dinners, and other team activities;
  • Participate in Moment Factory coordination meetings and contribute to process improvement;
  • Plan special projects and certain production meetings;
  • Prepare, write, edit, and translate various documents, reports, and presentations;
  • Provide support and follow-up with the purchasing department;
  • Update the resource bank, identify, and select potential employees, and participate in the hiring process;
  • Onboard new resources to the team and tend to their basic training needs;
  • Participate in the project process as project teams are being set up.
2. Support the team’s General Manager
  • Organize, plan, and manage business trips;
  • Organize, plan, and manage the General Manager's agenda;
  • Manage the General Manager's expense accounts;
  • Perform other related tasks.
Job requirements
  • College degree in management, interactive media, industrial or environmental design, multimedia, scenography, theater production or other equivalencies;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in administrative support or management, ideally in a similar business environment;
  • Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written;
  • Knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Keynote.
