Job summary:
The Programmer is responsible for developing and creating complex systems and applications for Bell Media’s Astral division. The position also involves developing, documenting and applying programs or software, as well as developing and supporting a transactional website.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the maintenance of existing software by making the required changes in accordance with computer services requests (CSRs), verifying data integrity and the effectiveness of solutions adopted
Write and develop computer programs using programming languages according to the needs identified
Carry out a functional analysis
Develop the necessary modules
Produce statistics on the company's customers
Perform any other tasks requested by the supervisor
Profile Sought:
DCS with three years' experience or bachelor's degree in computer science
Bilingualism
Deep knowledge of .Net Framework, C# and Object Oriented Programming
Deep knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL, MySQL)
Deep knowledge of REST API
Knowledge of EntityFramework and LINQ
Knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks like Angular, Vue or React
Knowledge of Git Workflows
Knowledge of Linux
Knowledge of NodeJS and IIS
Minimum knowledge of DevOps Tools and Cloud Computing Solutions like AWS, Azure, Kubernetes and Docker

Working Conditions:
Job status: Regular – Full Time
Work schedule: Need to be available to work 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
