Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with senior designers to create innovative product concepts, sketches, and renderings.

Assist in conducting market research and analysis to identify user needs, design trends, and competitive products.

Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for design projects.

Create detailed 2D and 3D design drawings using industry-standard software and tools.

Develop prototypes and mock-ups to test and validate design concepts.

Assist in the selection of appropriate materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes for product designs.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure the successful execution of design projects.

Stay updated on the latest design trends, technologies, and manufacturing processes in the industrial design field.

Assist in the preparation and delivery of design presentations to internal stakeholders and clients.

Maintain accurate documentation of design iterations, specifications, and project progress.

Academic background & training

Qualifications and Requirements :

Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles, creativity, and attention to detail.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar tools.

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and technical constraints.

Excellent sketching and rendering skills, both by hand and digitally.

Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts through visual and verbal means.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

Strong time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

A passion for design, a curiosity for emerging trends, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
