Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You have a technologist or bachelor’s degree in mechanical / aerospace engineering or aerospace technical field plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace or related industry.
• You must possess a strong knowledge of aircraft structures and / or systems installation : configuration, preliminary sizing, design for manufacturing, detail design (sheet metal, machined parts, piping, component assembly, GD&T), material and processes, certification requirements, weight control and industry design standards.
• You have a strong familiarity in aerospace manufacturing processes and capabilities.
• Your familiarity with Aircraft systems overall operation and function is considered an asset.
• Your familiarity with in-service operation and aircraft maintenance is an asset.
• Your familiarity with Aircraft Interiors is considered an asset.
• You have knowledge of CATIA V5, Enovia and MS Office is required.
• Knowledge of NX and Teamcenter is an asset.
• You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a high sense of commitment, are willing to accept responsibilities and act independently in a high-pressure partner / supplier team.
• You must be fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
