Int. Business Systems Consultant to support a reporting dashboard project for a large insurance client -
Duration : 6 Months (possibility of extension)
Location : Remote (Toronto or Waterloo)
Must haves :
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Consultant working with management reporting dashboards
- Proficiency in data mapping and creation of business data mapping (BDM)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- FI / Insurance experience.
Nice to haves :
Familiarity with JAMA requirement management tool
Job Responsibilities :
- Writing user stories and refinement of user stories
- Involved in Spike tickets for analysis / coordinating with other team members for analysis
- Supporting the coordination of work with other teams
- Working with team to review and understand detailed solution design approaches and help assess if it meets the goals of the user story
- BDM creation and updates (configuration changes loaded to our ETL; not standard data mapping of FROM TO that most BSAs produce)
- Quarter-end investigation support (coordinating meetings and querying data / reviewing BDM logic to find root cause)
- BAT (Bus. Application Team) ticket support
- Gather and review list of QE Prod defects for inclusion in future enhancement work / ticket analysis for trends
- Support any build out of Ops related documentation (ex. stability issues with triggers to manage manually during Q1, beginning to create a Confluence page, etc.) Less than 1 hour ago
