Our expectations

Under the direction of the Director of Procurement Products and Services, the technician has the mandate to act as an interface (single point of contact) for all acquisition of goods and services as well as the daily management of contracts (goods and services and consultants).

He plays an important day-to-day role in the management of purchase requests, the issuance of requisitions for the creation of purchase orders under his management.

He is also responsible for any follow-up related to the renewals of all contracts under his management.

Your role

  • Validate and complete requisitions in order to be able to issue purchase orders (PO);
  • Perform administrative work in relation to contract management;
  • Send contracts to the various suppliers for signature;
  • Follow up on the various contracts in signature;
  • Update the various systems in order to produce performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Digitize the various procurement and contract management documents;
  • Negotiate and discuss with qualified suppliers prices, delivery times and any other commercial aspects related to the delivery of goods or services to be ordered;
  • Update Service Now and network directories for any contracts and other systems related to procurement;
  • Ensure the follow-up of the P.O. with the various stakeholders both external (suppliers) and internal (the different teams);
  • Inform the various stakeholders when the goods are at the end of their life (discontinued) and ensure follow-up in order to be informed of the replacement product.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Hold a college diploma or equivalent;
  • Have three (3) years of experience as a procurement technician;
  • Ensure and maintain a high standard of customer service;
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and Outlook);
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Ability to adapt easily to change;
  • Has organizational skills and attention to quality in the execution of work;
