About the role

We’re looking for a Risk Management Advisor to join our growing team!

What you'll do here:

Perform periodic risk quantification using our internal model including the production of quarterly reports and presentations.

The process includes but is not limited to data extraction, calibration, validation, and result analysis.

  • Provide necessary support to the business using our risk quantification and participate in the effort to promote the use of the internal business model.
  • Develop a rigorous application and maintenance of policy and procedures.
  • Maintain documentation, business uses, governance and controls, and IT infrastructure.
  • Become the main resource for troubleshooting and resolution of production issues as well as for assistance with the analysis of all changes.

What you bring to the table:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in P&C insurance and/or risk quantification.
  • Bachelor's degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience; risk management or relevant advanced studying is an asset.
  • At least 1 year with exposure completing audits.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Team player, proactive approach, autonomy, and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills and solid planning and execution.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • Solid skills in oral and written communications and interpersonal relations with the ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required; however, must be eligible to work in Canada.
