This position reports to:

Country Customer Experience Lead

Your role and responsibilities

  • Work as a liaison between the customer, sales, product management, logistics for supply and demand, and other corporate personnel. Be able to manage a load of Accounts to include distributor, OEM, or Channel partner as the primary customer contact for the duration of each order or small project, and able to resolve specific issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate. Evaluate Sales Team input and customer demand to ensure accurate forecast needs for production requirements. Review customer requests and follow up with the internal stakeholders until completion of all necessary actions to obtain customer satisfaction.
  • Identify the processes needed to be followed to solve any inquiries received from customers. Participate in the growth of ABB Electrification business in Canada and collaborate actively into continuous improvements of internal processes within your team. Willingness to travel (up to 10%) in support of customer needs or training.

Qualifications for the role

Should have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a major in a business-related field, i.e., Business Mgt, Business Admin, Marketing, Supply Chain Mgt, etc., or a high school diploma/GED with at least 2 years in a Customer Facing position or Supply Chain function.

  • Should possess strong oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrate some experience using SAP (PE3/ECC) or another ERP system such as Oracle.
  • Ability to multitask with strong sense of priority with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a strong team player.
  • French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
