Overview :

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to own the day-to-day management and growth of our social channels. Reporting to the Creative Director (and working closely with the Marketing and Product teams), this role will be the front line of our brand—engaging with audiences, scheduling and posting content, and ensuring a consistent brand voice across platforms. Mission & Outcomes : Mission

Drive meaningful engagement and growth on TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat positioning our brand as a “cool, elevated, but still approachable” go-to for young and college-aged customers.

Key Outcomes (Within the First 6–12 Months)

Cohesive Content Calendar

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar (IG feed, Stories, TikTok, Snapchat).
  • Ensure brand voice, visuals, and messaging align with the Creative Director’s guidelines.

Audience Engagement & Growth

  • Increase follower count by at least 20% on TikTok and Instagram.
  • Boost average engagement rate (likes, comments, shares, DMs) by 25%.
  • Trend Identification & Adoption

  • Identify 2–3 trending sounds or challenges on TikTok per week and recommend how the brand can leverage them.
  • Ensure timely responses to trends, decreasing “idea-to-post” time by 30%.
  • Community Management

  • Respond to 90%+ of DMs and comments within 24 hours.
  • Foster a strong brand-community connection; coordinate at least 1–2 user-generated content (UGC) campaigns or Q&A events each quarter.
  • Content & Campaign Impact

  • Work with the Creative Director and Marketing leads to plan 2–3 major social campaigns per quarter, each generating a +15% spike in engagement or conversions.
  • Responsibilities

    Content Creation & Scheduling

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director on campaign themes, visual direction, and tone.
  • Draft captions, select visuals, and schedule posts using our social media management tools.
  • Brainstorm new content ideas (Reels, TikTok, Stories) to keep channels fresh.
  • Trend & Competitor Analysis

  • Track competitor and aspirational brands (e.g., Garage, White Fox, Fashion Nova) for emerging ideas and best practices.
  • Stay ahead of algorithm changes, trending audios, and platform updates.
  • Community Engagement

  • Promptly reply to DMs, comments, and mentions.
  • Engage with users and influencers, re-sharing relevant UGC to build brand loyalty.
  • Escalate customer-service issues when necessary and keep a calm, professional brand voice.
  • Reporting & Optimization

  • Monitor daily / weekly analytics (engagement rate, follower growth, reach, top-performing content).
  • Provide monthly performance reports and use data insights to optimize content strategies.
  • A / B test captions, posting times, or content formats to continuously improve results.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Coordinate with the Product team to highlight new products or upcoming launches.
  • Work with the Marketing team to align social media strategy with email, influencer collabs, and paid ads.
  • Partner with the Creative Director to ensure consistent brand visual and voice guidelines.
  • Qualifications & Competencies :

    Education & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, ideally at a direct-to-consumer or fast-fashion brand.
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and social media scheduling tools (Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Skills & Traits

  • Creative & Trend-Savvy : Natural eye for design, obsessed with the latest social media trends, and strong sense of youth culture.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented : Skilled at managing content calendars, deadlines, and multi-channel posting.
  • Excellent Communication : Strong written skills, can adapt tone for different platforms, and maintain brand voice.
  • Analytical Mindset : Able to interpret social media metrics, turn insights into action, and communicate results to the team.
  • Team Player : Excels at cross-departmental collaboration; open to feedback and continuous improvement.
