KisoJi Biotechnology is a therapeutic antibody company that is developing mono- and multispecific antibody therapeutics by leveraging our state-of-the-art proprietary transgenic mouse (KisoMouse) platform for the generation of heavy chain-only antibodies (HCAbs). We are currently expanding our molecular biology and antibody discovery team; we are specifically looking to hire a Senior Research Associate. This is an individual contributor position that requires on-site laboratory bench work.
The successful candidate will have the ability to complete project milestones within strict deadlines, to provide technical expertise within their areas of strength, to work independently, and to collaborate effectively within our multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for people who are internally motivated, scientifically rigorous, and who hold high standards of laboratory maintenance. Candidates must be able to work legally in Canada.

Responsibilities
- To work independently and in collaboration with other team members, under the direction of the department head to
- Design, create and clone antibody / recombinant protein DNA constructs
- Generate phage display antibody libraries
- Plan and execute phage display panning experiments for antibody discovery
- Generate amplicon libraries for NGS analysis
- Provide technical and scientific expertise in discussions and presentations
- Support the creation of SOPs and experiment reports as required
- Interface with and support other scientists as required, and participate in team meetings to assist in the coordination of project and departmental activities
