Robotics Application Specialist – Remote

Do you want to join a global team that is making industrial robotics more accessible? RoboDK is hiring! RoboDK is a fast-growing software company that develops simulation and programming solutions for industrial robots.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers (email, forum, phone, and conference calls).
Develop and maintain post processors and drivers for various robot controllers.
Build new solutions and features related to robotics and RoboDK.
Create add-ins (in Python or C++ / Qt) to extend RoboDK’s capabilities.
Offer insights on customer needs and industry-specific applications.
Collaborate with the team on sales, marketing, and training activities.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.

Professional experience working with industrial robots (e.g. ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, Yaskawa / Motoman, Staubli, Universal Robots, etc.).

Solid programming skill (Python or C++ / Qt preferred)

Comfortable working efficiently in a fully remote, fast-paced setting.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Self-driven and adaptable to changing priorities.

Excellent English communication skills.

Additional Advantages

Interest in delivering remote or on-site trainings, or tutorial videos.

Hands-on experience in robotics applications (welding, machining, bin picking, palletizing, etc.).

Experience with CAD / CAM software (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Mastercam, Rhinoceros, Catia, PTC, etc.)

Additional language skills (French, German, Chinese, Spanish, etc.).
