I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company specializing in advanced technologies, for the position of Automation Production Engineer - Permanent position, 40 hours / week - Hybrid located in Longueuil.

Responsabilités Principales

Reporting to the Process Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Equipment Optimization: Participate in the installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of production equipment in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
• Programming and Design: Assist in the development and programming of automated tools and auxiliary equipment.
• Technical Documentation: Write technical specifications and take part in the selection of suppliers.
• Instrumentation and Control: Manage instrumentation and control projects from design to production deployment.
• Operational Support: Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues related to processes and equipment.
• Training: Develop and deliver technical training programs for internal teams.
• Risk Analysis: Conduct risk analyses for new equipment or modifications to existing installations.
• Process Improvement: Propose and implement innovative solutions to optimize processes and enhance performance.

Votre Parcours

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or any other relevant technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in automation project management and process improvement.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (an asset).
• Experience in highly automated and technological environments.
• Bilingual in French and English is required.
