We’re seeking a creative and strategic E-Commerce Manager & Visual Merchandiser to oversee the website, enhance its visual appeal, and identify opportunities to boost sales. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who has a keen eye for design and a strong understanding of e-commerce tools to drive conversions. You’ll be responsible for creating visually appealing online store layouts, optimizing product placements, and utilizing key Apps to improve the shopping experience and boost sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, organize, and update the website’s visual layout, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience.
  • Manage new product uploads, category builds, product detail creation and maintenance, and promotional activities.
  • Work closely with merchandising, operations, and customer service teams to improve efficiencies, trade, and customer experience.
  • Manage & coordinate Photoshoots (in Montreal, Canada) and image selection based on Marketing & Merchant activation plan.
  • Strategically manage product categorization, placement, and promotion to maximize sales.
  • Monitor website performance, identifying areas for improvement to increase customer engagement and conversions.
  • Leverage tools and Apps to create personalized shopping experiences and targeted product recommendations.
  • Analyze website traffic, sales metrics, and customer behavior to uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct A/B tests for product imagery, descriptions, and layouts to assess the impact of changes in visuals and layout on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns align with visual merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure website functionality, including troubleshooting any technical issues in partnership with developers or IT teams.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce and design trends to ensure the store remains competitive and innovative.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in e-commerce website management and visual merchandising for online retail (ideally Shopify).
  • Strong understanding of website optimization strategies to increase sales and improve user experience.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to improve performance.
  • A creative eye for design with a strong sense of brand consistency.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design software is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX and working with developers is a plus.
  • Bilingual with written and verbal French and English communication skills required.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to clearly articulate goals, strategies, and performance insights across teams.
