Senior Manager, Information Technology

Position Summary :

As the Senior Manager of IT at Goodee, you will oversee the maintenance and optimization of our technology infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, security, and innovation. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing our website’s Shopify Theme (Online Store 2.0), automating backend tasks, and maintaining analytics and reporting systems. This role demands a proactive problem solver and a deep understanding of the interconnected systems that drive our business. You will work closely with all the departments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Shopify

• Maintain and optimize the existing Shopify Theme (Online Store 2.0).
• Be the reference point about Shopify Ecosystem.
• Stay informed about API changes and version updates, ensuring systems remain current and compatible.

2. Tech stack management :

• Oversee and maintain Goodee’s technical infrastructure.
• Manage tools and platforms that support automated tasks and workflows (ie, Mechanic, Arigato Automation, Zapier).
• Help to choose new technologies and new systems for further growth.

3. Automation and Reporting :

• Ensure automated tasks run efficiently in the backend.
• Help create custom reports via our reporting Apps.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly generated reports.

4. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting :

• Diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify root causes of technical challenges, often linked to interconnected systems, and implement effective solutions.

5. Email and Workspace Management :

• Maintain and manage the company’s Gmail and Google Workspace environment.
• Handle user permissions, access controls, accounts, and licenses for all tech tools.

6. Analytics and Tracking :

• Work with third-party vendors (ie. LittleData) to ensure analytics and tracking systems provide accurate and actionable insights.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with Shopify.
• Strong knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem; as well as 3rd party apps that gravitate around Shopify.
• Familiar with eCommerce and Marketing in general.
• Good knowledge of APIs, Webhooks, Graphql, no-code tools.
