Your responsabilités :

  • Oversees and coordinates the quarterly and annual consolidated financial review process to ensure financial information is accurate, timely and relevant and in accordance with SOX requirements;
  • Prepares quarterly Management Discussion and Analysis;
  • Collaborates in the preparation of financial information for the audit committee, board presentations and earnings release;
  • Manages the filing of the quarterly and annual SEC filings, including the review of the XBRL filings and the Ontario Securities Commission filings;
  • Contributes to the preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
  • Supervises staff;
  • Manages the chart of accounts and mapping;
  • Develop financial reports for analysis through combination and consolidation of information from various systems;
  • Prepares financial analysis as required;
  • Reviews work done by the team;
  • Responsible for certain corporate and consolidated aspects of the budgeting process;
  • Assist in analyzing technical accounting issues, including agreements and/or contracts as well as preparing accounting positions memorandums;
  • Participates in new subsidiaries integration including the following:
    • Compliance with procedures, mapping and controls including SOX requirements;
    • Operational accounting integration within multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Taxation, Legal, Treasury).
  • Lead and/or participate in finance projects;
  • Leads quarterly reviews and annual audits with our external auditors;
  • Identify, document and implement internal accounting procedures.

Your profile :

  • Holds a CPA designation with at least 5 years of public accounting experience or equivalent industry experience in accounting;
  • Has excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, including SmartView;
  • Experience with financial modeling;
  • Able to optimize use of Information Technology and best business practices;
  • Strong knowledge and interest in working with various interfacing systems;
  • Has excellent knowledge of IFRS;
  • Understands purchase accounting and the application of accounting principles;
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrates commitment to teamwork and partnerships;
  • Is resourceful, autonomous, organized, has exceptional attention to detail, takes initiative, is committed and has excellent analytical skills;
  • Able to manage priorities whilst respecting deadlines;
  • Experience with Oracle and Workiva a plus;
  • Able to work in project mode;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) both oral and written. Exceptional English written skills required.
