Our client is an expanding manufacturing company looking to add a Marketing Manager to their team to grow their brand in North America. This is a great opportunity to be a key stakeholder in a growing company that invests in its employees.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the marketing and communication activities according to the company marketing plans.
• Lead the development of brand strategies, plans, and budgets.
• Develop and manage a marketing budget with targets including sales, profit, and proportionate advertising expenditures. Ensure budgets are being spent to deliver the best value.
• Brand development, consumer communications (including social media), research and insights, portfolio innovation, trade presentations, retail pricing, and promotions.
• Be part of the strategic planning process to build a long-term innovation pipeline. This includes new products, line extensions, reformulations, and packaging formats that meet the company objectives and brand strategies. Participate in the innovation process.
• Coach and develop direct reports, including direction on key projects, continued feedback, career guidance, and professional development.
• Coordinate all marketing activities to generate leads.
• Manage projects that improve the business in both the short and long term such as packaging changes, new product launches, consumer programs, trade promotions, and consumer/trade shows.
• Collaborate with other teams to promote offerings.
• Inform clients and prospects of products and services through creative marketing strategies.
• Track performance of all marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA an asset.
• 5+ years Marketing Manager experience in the CPG manufacturing sector required.
• Bi-lingual English and French required.
• Clean criminal record and driver’s abstract.
