You should be passionate and knowledgeable about:

  • Electronics manufacturing - PCBA and mechanical assembly
  • New product introduction (NPI)
  • Manufacturing quality management

You should have experience in some or all of the following:

  • Project management
  • Lean manufacturing
  • Experience working with contract electronics manufacturers
  • Figures of merit to assess manufacturing performance
  • Automated testing and fixturing
  • Supplier quality management
  • Fulfillment, warehousing, transportation and distribution
  • Manufacturing cost accounting

And this is what we’d expect of you:

  • Introduce new offers from engineering into manufacturing
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
  • Manage production forecast
  • Set-up and manage downstream supply chain including transportation, warehousing and distribution
  • Continuously optimize costs: material, labour, overhead, etc.
  • Manage manufacturing and supply chain quality
  • Manage supplier quality, issue and follow up on corrective actions
  • Manage customer quality including RMAs and respond to customer corrective actions
  • Develop manufacturing processes, both manual and automated, to ensure high process capability and repeatability and exceptional product quality
  • Meet with new and existing suppliers to explore opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement
  • Arrange for engineering prototypes as required

Experience requirements:

  • Electronics manufacturing (5 years)
  • Industrialization (5 years)
  • New product introduction (5 years)
  • Supplier management (5 years)
  • Manufacturing quality management (5 years)

Language requirement:

  • French: Professional (preferred)

The hiring process for this position will consist of 3 interviews:

  • 1st interview with HR representative - 20 minutes via Google Meet - General discussion, confirmation of interest
  • 2nd interview with the department’s head - 30 minutes via Google Meet - General technical discussion
  • 3rd interview with your future colleagues and supervisor - 1 hour on-site - In-depth technical discussion + tour of the office

Work location:

  • We expect people to come a majority of their time to the office
