Under the supervision of the IT Infrastructure & Security Coordinator, we are looking for an IT Security Analyst to join our team. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the proper functioning of the company's network and various IT platforms.

What You Will Do

  • Play a key role in the availability, performance, and security of our systems and data against internal and external threats.
  • Review, manage, and maintain security systems, intrusion detection systems, and identity and access management solutions.
  • Continuously monitor the network infrastructure and proactively resolve performance issues, suspicious activities, and incidents, as well as service requests, while adhering to defined service level agreements.
  • Document security system configurations and operational procedures.
  • Design and plan realistic and relevant phishing scenarios to raise employee awareness of phishing threats.
  • Manage, track, document, and resolve incidents and service requests using a ticketing system.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and participate in penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in the development of security policies and procedures.
  • Train and educate employees on security practices.
  • Share knowledge and train colleagues to strengthen the team's skills.
  • Be available outside office hours to provide support during major incidents.
  • Perform any other related tasks associated with the role of IT Security Analyst.
  • Contribute to collective success by supporting the initiatives of other teams (internal and external).
  • Stay informed about the latest security trends and technologies.

  • Adaptability to changes and ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Good understanding of security regulations and standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, Law 25, etc.).
  • Qualifications :

  • Obtaining a secret security clearance issued by the Canadian government.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a security analyst or in a related field.
  • Bilingual (French and English, both spoken and written).
  • Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, security tools, and best practices.
  • Being rigorous, autonomous, and organized.
  • Demonstrating an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Being a team player with good team spirit.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of EDR, SIEM, Honeypot & Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (an asset).
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices (an asset).
  • Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are an asset.
  • Possibility of travel across Canada as needed.
