Job Description

Our challenge: We are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Architect or a Solutions Architect with an organization-wide architecture guidance-setting mindset to lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide technology strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering innovation. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic acumen with hands-on technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and the ability to inspire innovation across teams.

  • The Role Responsibilities:
    • Develop & Drive Technology Strategy: Lead the ideation, design, and implementation of enterprise architecture strategies.
    • Establish and maintain enterprise architecture principles, governance, patterns, and standards to guide IT initiatives.
    • Innovation & Ideation: Continuously evaluate trends, tools, and methodologies, recommending disruptive technologies that can transform business models.
    • Holistic Solution Architecture: Balance high-level enterprise architecture with actionable, practical solution designs to deliver value at all levels.
    • Ensure seamless integration of applications, data, and processes across business functions, delivering holistic solutions.
    • Organizational Execution & Collaboration: Work across departments to break down silos and drive alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
    • Governance & Risk Management: Define and enforce architecture governance processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to organizational standards.
    • Anticipate and address potential risks related to resiliency, scalability, security, and technical debt in architectural decisions.

Requirements

You are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE or Python, with the ability to dive into the technical weeds and build prototypes or POCs as needed.
  • 4+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 3 years in enterprise architecture roles.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven architecture).
  • Strong background in data architecture, including integration, analytics, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design Pattern concepts with practical experience of leveraging the same during development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates should be able to design and then implement solutions.
  • Experience in ideating and scaling innovation programs and fostering alignment between IT and business teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to influence and inspire across organizational boundaries.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
  • Experience with frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, or Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Implementation level knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence.
  • Strong Database skills including relational and semi-structured databases.
  • DevOps experience covering CI / CD pipeline management, usage of containers for application deployment, observability tools.
