About This Role
The ideal candidate will be ensuring the quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliancy of technical documents with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices. The person will also coordinate with stakeholders, such as engineers, product / project managers, and customers, to gather information, feedback, and requirements for technical publications.
Publication Management
- Manage a team of technical writers and technical publication specialists who produce / prepare technical documents, such as operation and maintenance manuals, user guides, plans, test documents, Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP), etc.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliance of technical documents with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, such as SME(s), project / product managers, and customers, to gather information, feedback, and requirements for technical publications.
- Identify and assign resources required to ensure all project commitments are met.
- Conduct team meetings to discuss team-related topics, provide priorities, and information.
- Participate in weekly leader meetings.
- Responsible for providing estimated level of effort during bids process.
- Responsible for completing the compliancy requirements for Technical Publications in the requirements tool.
- Responsible for ensuring governance of the financials and budgets of the Technical Publication projects and tracking variances.
- Responsible for developing the talent pipeline :
Lead all employee management activities, such as performance evaluation via the process in place, annual salary review, training, coaching, and development plans.
