Responsibilities

As a business development intern, you'll play a key role in helping us expand our reach and impact. Within the go-to-market function, you will have ownership over your own stream (e.g; marketing, sales, etc).

Here are a few of the tasks / responsibilities you'll have within your role:

• Engage in sales outreach and identify leads
• Attend networking events to represent keen to help and build connections
• Draft and publish newsletters to reach a wider audience
• Research and pursue new partnership opportunities
• Join a weekly in-person session in Montreal for brainstorming, teamwork, and growth

Format

This is a:

• Unpaid opportunity: there will be no hourly rate as we are still an early-stage nonprofit organization
• Hybrid opportunity: we will be meeting in-person in downtown Montreal at least once per week
• Summer opportunity: start date May 26th, end date August 8th - we can be flexible here
• Part-time opportunity: expectation is you'll be working 10-20 hours per week

Qualifications

You are:

• A current student (any year – upper years & business-related majors/minors a plus!)
• Open to a hybrid work model (remote + 1 in-person session per week in Montreal)
• Enthusiastic about social impact, volunteering, and community building
• A self-starter who’s excited to learn, contribute, and make connections
• Able to work well with a team, and have strong problem-solving & interpersonal skills
