At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies and plans, emphasizing automation, and performance testing.
• Manage QA activities across multiple projects, providing leadership, mentorship, and oversight to the QA team.
• Actively engage in sprint planning, kick-off, and backlog refinement meetings to accurately estimate, prioritize, and plan QA tasks.
• Conduct both manual and automated test cases for Enterprise applications, including Salesforce, SAP, and Oracle.
• Work closely with external clients, project teams, and developers to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Lead test reviews and defect triage meetings, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Create and document extensive test cases and scenarios covering all business and technical requirements.
• Provide detailed test progress reports and maintain test dashboards.
• Ensure effective regression testing in CI / CD environments and continuous integration workflows.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

• Experience leading test strategy definition workshops and build governance processes.
• Experience managing complex projects and engaging directly with external clients.
• Experience with leading enterprise automation testing solutions (e.g., Tricentis Testim, Tricentis Tosca, UIPath Test Suite, Provar).
• Experience in agile environments, with proficiency in test management tools (e.g., XRAY, Tricentis qTest, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket) and integrating automated tests into delivery processes.
• Knowledge of common scripting frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework.
• Ability to interpret business requirements / problems and provide clear recommendations.
• Able to collaborate and communicate with clients.
• Creation of documentation and training materials.
• Knowledge transfer to clients and training of super users.
• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
• This position may require travel up to 25%.
• When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset.
