Job Description

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating marketing projects, ensuring the successful execution of campaigns, promotions, events, and activations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support our food services across academic institutions, catering services, and retail locations. This role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.
  • Campaign Coordination: Coordinate and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Event & Activation Management: Plan, organize, and execute events and activations that engage our target audience and enhance brand visibility.
  • Promotion Development: Assist in the creation and coordination of promotional activities to drive engagement and sales across our food service offerings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including graphic designers, social media specialists, and sales teams, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, events, and promotions, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution of all marketing activities.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities, contributing to the development of innovative marketing strategies.

  • Vous êtes un(e) communicant(e) naturel(le) - vous savez comment engager avec tact différentes parties prenantes et les mettre à l’aise lors de la planification et de l’exécution des initiatives marketing.
  • Vous êtes organisé(e) et savez gérer plusieurs projets simultanément, tout en maintenant un haut niveau de qualité dans vos livrables.
  • Vous êtes curieux(se) et passionné(e) par la nourriture et l’expérience client.
  • Vous avez une bonne connaissance des plateformes Instagram et Facebook (une expérience avec Meta Business est un atout).
  • Vous êtes un(e) joueur(euse) d’équipe qui est prêt(e) à apprendre et à s’adapter rapidement.
  • Vous avez une compréhension approfondie du positionnement de marque et de sa gestion.
  • Vous avez peut-être de l’expérience dans les services alimentaires ou l’hôtellerie.
  • Vous avez une bonne maîtrise d’Excel et de Canva.
  • Vous comprenez l’analyse et les mesures de base des médias sociaux, y compris les impressions, la portée et l’engagement sur diverses plateformes, notamment Facebook et Instagram.

  • You know how to capture attention for Dana Units’ initiatives on campus and effectively communicate them to our audience.
  • You are a natural communicator – you know how to engage with different stakeholders tactfully and make them feel comfortable during the planning and execution of marketing initiatives.
  • You are organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables and have used project management software like ClickUp, Asana, Coda, Monday.com, etc.
  • You are curious and passionate about food and the customer experience.
  • You have strong knowledge of Instagram and Facebook platforms (experience with Meta Business an asset).
  • You are a team player who is willing to learn and adapt quickly.
  • You have a deep understanding of brand positioning and management.
  • You may have experience in food services or hospitality.
  • You have a good working knowledge of Excel and Canva.
  • You understand basic social media analytics and metrics, including Impressions, Reach, and Engagement across various platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in event planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing tools like Canva.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics.
  • Experience in the food services industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
