Job Title : Business Intelligence Architect

Location : Verdun, QC

Employment Type : Contract [1 year]

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Architect to provide leadership and strategic design initiatives for building robust technology solutions. As a key player in our team, you will develop architecture and integration strategies to support medium to large-scale initiatives. You will work with tools like SQL, SAS, and Python to create algorithms that meet complex business requirements and deliver tangible results.

Responsibilities :

  • Architectural Leadership : Lead the design and development of comprehensive technology solutions to support large-scale business initiatives.
  • Data Modeling : Specialize in RDBM systems, business intelligence, and data modeling (both logical and physical) to drive data strategy and architecture.
  • Technical Leadership : Utilize technologies such as SQL, SAS, and Python to build algorithms that address complex business requirements.
  • Framework Implementation : Apply best practices from architecture and service delivery frameworks such as TOGAF, eTOM, ITIL, CoBiT, etc.
  • Integration Planning : Develop integration frameworks to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across platforms.
  • Solution Development : Produce scalable IT solutions independently and collaboratively, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : 10+ years of demonstrated experience in IT architecture and planning , with a strong focus on data architecture and integration.
  • Technical Expertise : Proficiency in RDBM systems, business intelligence, data modeling (logical and physical) , and relevant technologies ( SQL, SAS, Python ).
  • Framework Knowledge : Familiarity with architecture and service delivery frameworks such as TOGAF, eTOM, ITIL, CoBiT, etc.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
  • Collaboration Skills : Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Project Management : Proven experience in managing projects, defining scope, planning deliverables, and ensuring timely delivery.
