About the role
We’re looking for a Digital Librarian (Knowledge Management Analyst II) to join our team!
What you’ll do here :
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other members of the knowledge team (librarians and technical writers) to ensure that library content is compliant with Intact’s internal knowledge governance and guidelines.
- Utilize your understanding of best practices in knowledge organization, knowledge-seeking behaviours, and user experience design to support search engine optimization, user interface improvements, and the development of new tools for knowledge access.
- Provide training and support for tools and best practices to members of a large (+) community of knowledge developers and leaders.
- Support the ongoing centralization and standardization of Claims knowledge by managing content migration projects and performing regular knowledge base maintenance and organizational tasks.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders (trainers, managers, analysts, IT, users) to drive content development and tool adoption.
- Analyze user feedback and reporting metrics to support continuous improvement and optimization.
What you bring to the table :
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Records and Information Management, Library and Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent education and experience).
- Master’s in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) or in Library Science (MLS) would be an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in knowledge management, digital libraries or content governance.
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple priorities and improve processes.
- Technical proficiency in knowledge platforms, database structuring, and AI-driven automation.
- Strong collaborator and communicator.
- Knowledge of insurance would be an asset.
- Strategic problem-solver.
- Thorough and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy.
