Under the supervision of the "Operational Security" Service Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues related to system security and ensuring that no situation compromises their safety.

You will be involved, among other things, in testing existing controls and analyzing network activity. You will develop response plans for security events and must be able to propose solutions to address vulnerabilities and incidents.

Responsibilities

Respond to security incidents and alerts from our various monitoring consoles.

Ensure evolution and maximize the use and support of existing security solutions.

Identify, evaluate and recommend corrective measures for security events.

Validate the implementation of IT security mechanisms within the company.

Ensure ongoing support of IT security infrastructure (firewall, web filtering, web firewall, antivirus, perimeter security, IDS / IPS, vulnerability identification, and others).

Test existing controls, analyze network and system activity, and work with administrators to create, maintain and reinforce security controls and measures.

Participate in the development of technical security standards in collaboration with system administrators.

Continuously research emerging security products, services, protocols and standards to support security development and enhancement efforts.

Provide level 3 support as required.

Provide on-call and after-hours support as required.

Participate in projects on an ad hoc basis as an expert in his / her field of expertise.

Technical requirements

University degree or college diploma in computer science or equivalent.

Minimum of (5) years’ experience in computer security.

Extensive practical knowledge and experience of network and information systems security components, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, web access control, data encryption, and other technical standards and industry practices.

Working knowledge of the main operating systems.

Experience with security tools : Microsoft, Sentinel & Elastic, Cloudflare & Area One, Fortinet & CISCO products.

Ability to propose solutions and initiatives.

Strong analytical and synthesis skills.

Ability to undertake research into security-related topics and products.
