Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Expert ERP Implementation Specialist to join our team for a strategic consulting mandate. This role demands a highly skilled professional who not only understands the intricacies of ERP systems but also has a deep understanding of business transformation, key business processes, data management, continuous improvement, and organizational change management. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and working side-by -side with the Program Manager, the successful candidate will lead the teams responsible for Continuous Improvement, Data Management, and Organizational Change Management. This candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing an industry-specific, integrated ERP solution which drives business efficiency, streamlines operations, and fosters long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- ERP Implementation Strategy & Integration :
Work with the Program Manager to define the end-to-end ERP system implementation strategy, to ensure the successful integration with existing business processes and systems. The Senior ERP Implementation and Business Transformation Expert will lead all aspects of business processes transformation and alignment with the new ERP software and needed data management as well as drive the organizational adoption program by spearheading an effective change management program. While the Program Manager will oversee the implementation's overall delivery in accordance with the program's objectives, budget, and timeline, the Senior ERP Implementation and Business Transformation Expert will play a key role in ensuring that the ERP solution is implemented in accordance with the business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in analyzing business requirements against current and future ERP system capabilities to identify gaps and plan solution mitigation action plans and strategies. Work with the ERP system developers and configuration teams to align the ERP solution with the business needs and objectives. As the expert in organizational change management, continuous improvement, and data management, leverage his vast experience in defining the needed strategies and implementation approaches for each of these areas, to ensure that the overarching business transformation is delivered with the highest level of quality and successful end-user adoption. Coach his or her teams and help them adopt proven methodologies in organizational change management, continuous improvement, and data management in line with leading industry best practices. Business Transformation & Process Optimization : Drive business transformation by identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements through ERP system capabilities.
Work closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify key business goals and ensure ERP solutions are aligned to these goals. Collaborate with and lead the Continuous Improvement team, providing them with a best practice methodology in continuous improvement, as they redesign the organization's business processes to optimize workflows, reduce manual efforts, and enhance operational efficiency. Organizational Change Management (OCM) : Develop and implement change management strategies and related communication plan to ensure successful user adoption and minimize resistance to new processes and systems.
Conduct training programs, workshops, and user support sessions to ensure smooth transitions and system adoption. Lead the organizational change management team and provide leadership and guidance to stakeholders at all levels, helping them understand the benefits of the ERP system and its alignment with business transformation goals. Data Management & Migration : Lead efforts in data strategies, data migration, and data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the ERP implementation.
Develop and execute data migration strategies, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems to the new ERP platform. Provide oversight on data mapping, cleansing, and transformation activities, ensuring seamless integration while identifying the right sources of data to obtain a "single version of the truth." Define the overall testing strategy, along with the validation of the organization's operational readiness for go-live. Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring : By leading the Continuous Improvement team, which is a major contributor to success of the program, champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the program duration, building the CI strategy by identifying areas for system enhancements and optimizations, while leveraging proven CI methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, Lean or similar approaches.
Lead a continuous improvement team in implementing the program's CI strategy. Collaborate with business users to define performance metrics and ensure ERP systems meet organizational goals. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication : Collaborate with the Program Manager to assist finding innovative and proven solutions to implementation challenges, by fostering collaboration and strong relationships between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors during the ERP implementation process.
Provide metrics to assist the Program Manager in developing and presenting reports on program progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes to senior management. Qualifications
Key Qualifications :
Experience : 15+ years of experience in ERP implementation, business transformation, and IT consulting, with a focus on end-to-end large-scale project and program management. Technical Skills : In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), business process management, and integration technologies. Business Acumen : Strong understanding of core business functions (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, HR, etc.) and how ERP solutions enable business transformation. Change Management : Expertise in change management methodologies and tools (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR), with experience in driving large-scale organizational change. Continuous Improvement : Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and programs, with knowledge of CI methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other is a definite asset. Data Management Expertise : Proven experience in data migration, data mapping, and data governance practices. Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Certifications : ERP-related certifications (e.g., SAP Certified, Oracle Certified) are a plus. Travel : Willingness and ability to travel to Europe, the USA, and within Canada for key business interactions, as frequently as required for the proper and timely implementation of the business transformation program. Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with Agile methodologies in ERP implementation. Additional Information
